Over the last few years, Call of Duty has followed the likes of Fortnite in making microtransactions like new skins and battle passes a really big part of the game. It’s become a live-service title with an additional focus on Warzone and multiplayer seasons. This has been a constant sticking point in the community, especially when it comes to the devs seemingly prioritizing new skins and content over fixing bugs, combatting cheaters, and addressing server issues.
